Abstract

The RSP is a 2.5 year JISC funded project (2006 - 2009) to co-ordinate and deliver best practice and practical advice to English and Welsh Higher Education Institutions developing their repositories solution. The RSP is also a key component of the JISC Repository Net infrastructure. The project is led by SHERPA, University of Nottingham, with core partners, Aberystwyth University, and UKOLN at the University of Bath. Other funded partners are the University of Southampton and the Digital Curation Centre. All partners represent key centres of expertise regarding repositories, and the project will build on their previous national and international activity across the repositories landscape. This poster will illustrates the background and recent activities of the Repository Support Project (RSP) with an especial emphasis on reviewing and sharing some key UK repository community experiences applicable to the global repository community.
